06 Mustangs SUCK!

I went Sunday to buy one, cash in hand. Had them get my black GT loaded chrome wheels. Went to get in it to test drive it, you just cant buy anything with out test driving it first. Sure enough, no leg room at all in the backseat. My poor kid had no room. This was a very big let down for me. I love the looks and I wanted one soooo bad. But I didnt even get it out of the parking spot. I figured there is no reason to even drive it, that would just make me want it more.

you have got to be shitting me. you think a car sucks because it has no leg room? wtf? it wasn't designed to be a limo. its a 2 door sporty car for fun, not for your kid to be comfortable in the back seat. need room, go buy a caddy or something.

All modern cars blow.

I cant think of one I would want to buy. I also want RWD, rear seat leg room, lots of power, good handeling, and 2 doors. Thats why I want an RX8 but the whole power thing is really keeping it down.

HOw about some kind of 325 bmw.

. My co-worker has one and I almost need to go to Chiro. therapy after I sit in it.

Drive my POS P5...that'll F' up your back. Friggin garbage seats. Damn thing is worn out after 3 years. And it has a stock suspension...My old junker $500 87 stang was a better car..and it got better milage.

the p5 seats have no side supports but they are not bad. they are comfortable. after 5 years in mine they still look brand new. use some seat covers next time, and you won't be complaining.

btw, the rx8 has not room either in the back.

You kind of have to read the whole thread. I love the car and I was pissed at it. But hey, you can ftw if you want.

HUGHES!

The GTO's are pretty decent on legroom, and fast as hell.

If you want to get a "feel" for some of the cars that you are looking for without dealing with asshole salesmen, give me a call and you can check out a few cars.

The charger is a pretty large car. You should have TONS of room in it.

Will my man, I'll call you friday then.

My seats LOOK brand spanking new. Leather is PERFECT, my car would pass for a 10K mile car. Absolutely no lumbar support. The seatback is concave and kills my back and neck. The upper portion is compressed also and pushes my shoulders forward. I would like to find some RX-8 or EVO 8 seats for it. I have to replace the seats soon, or I will do permanent damage to my spine.(if I haven't already)

The reason I wanted a Mustang it that it doesn't look like all the other cars. The car it self doesn't handle to bad. It faired well against the 350Z. The Z did beat it in handling but lost on speed. It ended up averaging out in the end. As far as cost goes it wasn't cheaper than the speed6. They both run 26-30k. This was alittle under 28k. And to be honest, I don't care about how good it handles. For the most part unless you are a pro driver you can't really tell the differance. And most racing (if I ever do that again) is or will be in a streight line. I'm just to worried that I"ll lose controle and hit something now. I hate getting old.

I was at the Doc office today and i was reading an old issue of car and drive and they were compairing these two cars. The 350z had some good points including better gas milage but the big thing for me was that the mustang cost less AND IT RUNS ON REGULAR UNLEADED GAS BAM BABY!!!! You get more horses for less dollars.

Yea I know. If I didn't have to trade in my pro I would go ahead and get one. But I might say @#$! it all and buy a house. I found 3 more I like and I'm going to go look at them today. I'd rather have a house you know.

Well if you can be flexible on the price and you want RWD, only other thing I can think of is the Infinity G35 sedan. Price around the same as the magnum. Has the same 3.5l V6 engine as the Z, but with slightly less power at 298HP so its going to be a bit slower being as how its a sedan. Looks preety sharp though.

It's actually faster than the coupe and the z because of its lesser weight
