new here to this site but owned my mazda for over three years. Lately, I been getting this weird hesitation symptom when giving it a bit more gas that normal between 2-3k rpm. I read tons of thread about hesitation but not sure If I found the right answer. I read from spark plugs, air filter or fuel filter. What's strange is that if I don't floor it I don't get hesitation at all. Sometimes it doesn't do anything at all even when flooring. It's driving me crazy. I replaced the plugs and filter. I just want to have an idea before taking to the mechanic. Lately, I been trying to get into car work more so trying to learn as much as possible.
PS: what is sputtering? I googled but can't find the proper definition. lol. sound dumb but I never heard of this term.
