I'm nearing 100,000 miles on my '03 LX, and I'm looking for new tires. The original Bridgestones were useless in the snow, but even worse in the rain. About four years ago, I put on a set of Fuzion VRi's, which are great in the wet and dry, but worse in the snow than the Bridgestones were. I understand that no all-season tire is going to be a good alternative to a winter tire, but here in Denver, we only have snow on the ground for a total of maybe two weeks a year, so I don't want to spend the money for separate snow tires. The Cooper Lifeliner Classic II's I had on two previous cars were incredible in the snow, but they don't make them in the 195/55 R15 size. Does anyone have any recommendations?
