03 Mazda Protege 5 Headlights

I'm looking to buy a pair of headlights but I do not want to fork out alot of money. I found 03 Mazda Protege headlights for a rather reasonable price, will they fit my P5? If so, will rewiring need to be done? Are there any different specifications. Thank you for any help.

yes, they'll fit the P5 just fine. the main difference between the two is that the regular protege headlights use an H4 bulb which is dual filament for both hi/lo beams in the same bulb compared to the p5 headlights which use two seperate bulbs. rewiring will need to be done, but it really isn't too difficult
