'03.5 Mazdaspeed Conversion?

I hear a lot about Protege sedans getting the MP3 front bumpers and such, but I've never seen a 2003.5 conversion. Are the dealers selling the front bumper? Will it even fit on an ES? Thanks in advance.

The 2003.5 Bumper is the same as the P5/MP3/MSP2003 bumper except it has an added lip to it ( its actually listed as a windsplitter... ). If you want the lip, you need the MP3/P5/MSP2003 bumper first. Would come out expensive...!

The lip can be ordered through the dealer and was about 360$ canadian if I remember correctly.

I am still considering getting the lip, but I still havn't seen anyone get the lip and keep the original foglights...

Btw at first I tough I needed a VIN number to get the lip, but my dealer told me that i'd probably only need the VIN number for the Mazdaspeed Mufflers as Mazda doesn't want every car have "Mazdaspeed" on their muffler. Something like that.

The 03.5 has a different front bumper cover with no foglights. So it doesn't look like a MP3, P5, or the 03 MSP.

It also has no signal indicators on the sides. P5 has them and the MP3/MSP don't. I imagine either bumper would work. Just which you prefer.

Part number for the lower lip from another thread is 000089C0900. Haven't seen a part number for the grill inserts.

Anyone have pics of 2003.5 MSP's with fog lights btw??

Well that sucks...the MP3 conversion is already expensive, then you need this lip and grille. Looks like I'll be going with this.
