02 Sensor Relocation?*CS exhaust

I have the CS exhaust and I am using the spark plug non-fouler method for cel-fix.

I am having an issue with the 02 wires being close the the flange of the exhaust when I run it back to the back of the motor, bc with the corksport exhaust I am now using the dp bung.

Anyone else running the non-fouler cel fix having a lack of wire problem?

Any solutions to this, has anyone extend the wire and run it elsewhere?

I have the cs power series exhaust as well. I saw that they wanted you to put the o2 sensor in the dp but i didn't like that at all i thought the wires were to close to the exhaust. So I took the front pipe to mineke and had them weld on an o2 bung and i also use the non fouler setup and it does work no cel over 500 miles.

would any exhuast shop be able to weld that, I've heard stories about welding SS? do you think they would be able to do it on the car?

Yea you can weld stainless steel as long as the guy is a good welder. I mean look at the weld beads on the exhaust now....so a good welder could do it. And yea just about any exhaust shop can do it.

OR you simply pull the wire up from the back and run it across the front of the Valve cover...I've done this on a few of the MSPs and it give yous plenty of slack while staying away from everything hot...not to mention you can't even tell its there...

should I take the pipe back off or take the chance and leave it on?

Have them do it while it is on the car unless you have not installed it yet.

I would like to try to stay away from welding on the pipe because I haven't heard of any good shops in the area. nothing but bad news. I also want to stay away form extentions so I don't have to cut into the wires, so if running it in the front works I will try that.

thanks guys I ended up going with the route that dsmconvert suggested bc it involved alot less. worked great.

turns out that sensor wire runs all the way up front anyways so it only made sense to run it that way and after a few zip ties it looks factory.

thanks guys
