02 P5-Foglight lens removal

has anyone attepmted to remove the lens from the foglight housing?

If so How...?

Can ot be done?

remove bumper then remove light. Service manual tells all. If you don't have the service manual I can give you a link to my drop box to download it.

bumper can stay on, jack up the car un screw the bolts holding it in place and unclip wiring harness and it will fall right out. then there are 2 screws holding the lens in place be careful they are cheap screws and will strip very easily

I want just the lens part removed from housing...Has any1 seperated the glass lens from metal housing/

Once you take the light out, there are two screws on the back. Removing them frees the lens to be removed.

I think he wants to remove the lens from the reflector, and if thats the case your probably gonna have to bake it in an oven

screw broke

One of the screw in the back was broken and i tried to extract but was unsucessful at doing so....I just need the glass lens from this part to attach to another fog light backing..that has to good screw to hold the lens. Other wise i can nevr replace the bulb in the the one that has broken screw in it..

So how would I bake light to remove the lens?

200 degrees for 10-15 minutes...or google baking headlights. The fogs are different though in that they are glass.
