(attn) I've been having some issues with my 's transmission recently (171717km), HOLD light on the dash was flashing.. so i carried it in to have it scanned and a code came up saying i had an issue with "Shift Solenoid D". Can't remember the code # at the moment but i know it said solenoid "D"
I was able to perform the resistance tests on the vehicle, and also the operation test (send voltage to solenoids for no more than 3 seconds and listen for click) a click was heard from TERMINALS "A", "C", "G" and "D-I". No click was heard from terminals "B" and "F". Have to take down the Solenoids to perform the 'off vehicle' resistance inspection.
From the workshop manual and the Mazda/Ford transmission manual, it shows that
Terminal A = Solenoid A - Type 1
Terminal B = Solenoid D - Type 2
Terminal C = Solenoid B - Type 1
Terminals D-I = Pressure Control Solenoid - Type 3
Terminal F = Solenoid E - Type 2
Terminal G = Solenoid C - Type 1
.... all well and good... but in looking for the part online... this is where the problems begin...
Several internet parts stores list "SOLENOID D/E" from the manual.... as "Solenoid A/B" (421, 422 in image shown)
and list the "SOLENOIDS A, B & C" from the manual..... as "Solenoids C, D & E" (423, 426, 427)...
Which one do i buy?? as the scanner showed an issue with "Shift Solenoid D"...

any help would be greatly appreciated!
