It could be wheel hop - to the degree of when going around a tight turn at a decent speed (30-40mph) that the tire breaks loose for a fraction of a second.

Even though some people say it will make noise on tight turns, I honestly haven't heard it make any.

Other people asked me the same thing, but it is way too loud for that.

I'm running Kosei K1 TS's in 17x7 (with a 50mm offset,)which weigh only 14.1 lbs. With 215-45-17 Bridgestone S03's mounted the total weight per wheel is 37.2 lbs. They are available in 15's too, but check out the tire rack to be sure. BTW the 17x7's were only $199ea, which is pretty cheap...
