i was changing my front pads and rotors and was suprised to see a torx bolt, is this normal or did someone rig it up. i have worked on many mazda and othe jap and american cars and never seen them use torx bolt? most of my mazdas from the 90's used 14mm socket, so just curious

Has anyone used the stock ram air piece with any short ram intake? i have an idea to make my generic ebay intake use the piece on top of the radiator since i think it may help.

i bought a cheap ebay intake. has anyone made a bracket or have any advice on where to get stuff to make one easy? tired of the rattling. came with piece for bracket but not long enough

Just wondering what tires everyone recomends for the stock 16s. I am on budget so looking for something not too expensive but performs well especially in the wet.

does anyone know how hard it would be to drop the 2.3 from a mazda 3 into a protege5 or if it has been done? i know the engine is turned around the other way and it would need the ecu, tranny, and exhaust. just an idea, i am new to the forum. i have an 03 protege 5 and i know the 2.0L doesnt...
