figured it out.. its the EGR valve. clean it along with the egr pipe.. no more long starts. starts up first try. no need to buy a new one just clean it.

there should be a drain bolt on the bottom of the radiator that should drain the coolant out. off top my head i do not know how many quarts they both hold, should have it in the back of the owners manual.

its pretty easy. theres two hoses going to the oil cooler remove those after you drain your oil and coolant then theres a big bolt which is the oil cooler bolt remove that and that should come off with a gasket. i would suggest also getting a new gasket for the oil cooler if its in rough shape...

well i got battery starter and alt checked.. all were good. im thinking it could be fuel related or sensor of some sort.. im stumped, any ideas??

i havent got the starter checked or alt, but i did have a dead battery about 4 months ago but i replaced that and the car ran fine for a while. im going to get the starter and alt checked maybe that could be it.

so the car only does this if the weather is warm out.. i replaced sparkplugs and battery is fairly new.

thanks for the replies.. boost starts around 2500, it holds its boost until redline which i rarely do. even in half throttle the boost is held. it really doesnt spike it just boosts up to 10 psi, although there is a bit of hesitation in the car and after a certain bit it gets it full power. i...

i have a 2003 msp basically all stock, all i have done is hardpipes ,fmic, and greddy BOV. I installed a Boost gauge and its reading 10 psi. it has a relocated maf, it was reading 10 psi when the car was completely stock with the stock pipes. it does not have a boost controller. i was wondering...
