I had the same problem with my car, my shop teacher said its more than likely the IAC valve. Mine jsut kinda had a irregular idle. I was just looking on ebay and I saw one for less than 15 bucks without shipping.

I'm looking for bolts on for my 96 protege. Cant really afford to do anything to extensive at the moment. So would I be able to buy a 1g full exhaust. What problems would I run into? And would i have to make any mods to make it work?
