Rocket: Is yours an auto or manual trans?

I have put 14.9 gallons in. It will run quite a distance after the light comes on. Longest trip on one tank so far was 410 miles. I dont recall how much gas I added after that trip, but if I recall correctly, the mileage came in around 29 mpg.

Check your owners manual, there should be detailed instructions there.

Check with your local junk yards. You might find a used one on the cheap. eBay might also yield results.

What are people buying to replace the factory tires? The Toyos are not bad on dry pavement, but dont perform nearly as well in ice and snow as all-season tires i have had on previous vehicles. Where I am at, there is simply not enough bad winter weather to justify dedicated snow tires, but...

Make sure to check with your local laws. Until recently, Illinois didnt allow tint forward of the rear side windows. As of Jan 1, tint is now allowed on the driver and front passenger side windows.

Not sure about right now, but in August, when I bought mine, there were only 5 on the lots in a 200 mile radius, which includes Chicago, St Louis, and Indianapolis. They were going as fast as the dealers were getting them in.

Are you looking for actual factory shop manuals, or something like Haynes or Chiltons? I have had good luck finding shop manuals on ebay. For Haynes/Chiltons, the local book store or Auto parts shop should have it.

My late-2009 has a spin-on filter as well. It confused the heck out of the quick-lube place.
