ive found another thread on here were several people r having the same prob. detonating with no codes and it seems the tsb on the fuel pumpe fixes it so im goin to ask them to try that

car isnt modded in any way just because the fact they cant fix it so that i can mod it... scan tool is a 3200 snap-on scan tool it will actially do more than mazdas scan tool will do.. it had a para. that said fuel pressure psi i clicked on it

lol ive had this prob. since day 1.. at 39000 miles the dealership has replaced 2 valves called purge valves... prob. still not fixed... so has any1 found a cutt and dry fix... new pump or pumps, plugs,fuel ratio sensor or all the above... need help car goes back in friday and its 2 hours 1 way

my question is what should fuel psi be at idle and 4200 where i aborted the run....the purge valve is what they replaced before

like i said ive been tryin to get this prob. fixed since pretty much day 1.. its got 39xxx on it but its their baby till 100xxx so they r goin to fix this..

reallywell that may be it ill get them to check that friday.. at idol its at 58psi accordin to the scanner

i did notice fuel pressure never got above 215psi is this normal

well i tryed the test to see it the turbo seals were bad.. started and drove it for 10 min normal driving let sit for 10 min idoling while i hooked up a scan tool. got back in the car while datalogging and 1st gear easy 2nd easy shiftin at about 3000 went to 3rd and eased down on the gas going...
