I got this midpipe when I bought an MS3 exhaust for my regular 3. I never used it. It is aftermarket with a high flow cat welded in. Asking $100 + shipping OBO. If you are in NC, especially around Raleigh or Charlotte, I may be able to arrange a pickup.

I have the same problem sometimes. Try shifting into 1st and then reverse, or 3rd and then reverse, or some combination of those. That seems to help me usually. I read on another forum this has something to do with lining up the synchronizers.

^ +1 This is a simple mod, shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes (except for the glove box if you are replacing that). All of the light covers just pop off.

All the sensors and flanges match up and its a simple bolt on?

Would this fit on a '04 mz3 hatch?

Manual or automatic? With higher miles you have to worry about clutch replacement if it's manual. I just bought an '04 hatch with 40k miles for $9000, but pretty much no options.
