I am so jealous! I want a 929 so bad! I almost bought an HC 929 out of a junkyard a few years back. I was going to try and build my track car for something different. Ended up with another FC, but I'll have a 929 when I can finally find one.
That looks great! Really love the color combo though.
Is there any thread sticking through the lug nuts? I might go with some extended studs for some more grip.
Do you mean 500 to 750 RPM's? If it's in the 5000s you have a much bigger problem haha.
It should just be the load on the system. Doesn't seem like much of a problem when it goes back to normal.
Kinda like when you put down your power windows and the lights dim, it's just a load on the...
Looks great! It's so clean! Blown fuses are generally a short to ground which might be an absolute pain to find.
Hopefully you can keep up the build in here and let us know what's going on!
Dip. It's just above a 1/4 of the price and has the same effective means. If you want to switch colors you cant just peel and get it redone. If the wrap were to rip on a quarter panel it'll be much more expensive to replace then just having that area dipped again.
If he's going ITB's then I sure hope he's going standalone EMS which sometimes can make it easier once you select the style sensors you're going to use.
Looks great man! Really love the LED's through out. Are you running 6000K LED's through out? I'm trying to choose between 5-6K and don't want any blue hue.
These are awesome! Since they're a one time run thing, do we need to have them ordered before March 17th? And for those of us who don't have facebook is there anyway to get a sizing shot put on this thread?
Wow that looks like some deep pitting in the rims! Did you fill them in at all and prep or did the plasti dip fill in for you?
Great stuff man can't wait for more updates!
I love the feeling of a clean shop! That's a nice color, what's the code on it? I'm going to paint my track FC Meteor Gray Mica. Kind of a gunmetal color with a dark flake looks really nice if you're looking for that type of color.
It all depends on the amount of torque the tool has. If your lug nuts are on at 85ft lbs but your tool only does 50ft lbs it won't have enough torque to remove them. If it can it will be fine to use.
