caliper wont work for the protege .starting to think i wont be able to do the speed6 kit for the original price..the dealer wants 500 for front calipers and brakets alone.so it would be more like the $700 .i have a couple ideas for the kit to keep it at the price that i will be investigating...

the cx-9 hasnt been tried yet.like stated before WAY too much has been going on in my end to be able to try it.but i may be able to squeeze in a test fit next week as long as things pan out personally wise.

that is most certainly a timing belt tensioner that has failed.DONT drive or run the vehicle at all until you fix it.protege garage has a good deal on a timing belt/tensioner kit on his site i believe its 120 bucks. it is possible that the codes you have are being caused by the tensioner...

ya im at the shop now finishing a stage 3 kit on a srt4 all i got left is the pcm then test drive it and when i get home ill post up some more pics.figure about a hour to hour and a half

ya i bought it off a member here not sure how many miles are on it. not repaired that iknow of and if it was it isnt noticiable
