Thanks for this thread. I have been looking to get an MS3 recently, and most are 2007 models. So maybe the 2008.5+ is what I should be looking for if they fixed some issues.

Turbo the 1.5L engine. I want a smaller version of the MS3. Lighter, more nimble, 2 door hatch even. Just under 20K and you have a winner. Otherwise I'm waiting for the Fiesta ST.

sweet! I like her 3 a lot, so the 5 may just be the ticket. (I would keep the 3 for myself, but I already have a nicely modded Focus {hence the name}. If I get a Mazda for myself, it's gonna be an MS2 or MS3.)

I would pay for an MS2 BIG TIME! I Really want that to be my next car if Ford doesn't give us an ST version of the Fiesta. The aftermarket for the Mazda2 will be huge either way.
