I feel safe saying that there isn't one MS3 BT owner who doesn't have a monitoring device...not to mention an upgraded HPFP. The stock tune couldn't handle that right? You must be hitting your head alot from all the cuts... why am I still entertaining this? I'm out until more info. is divulged.

(Full disclosure, I own a HT) So I am directing this at chimmike and my question is just meant to be a simple yes/no, straight up question without any response from me ....do you believe that the HT is the equivalent to "snake oil?"

If this mated up correctly with mazda's mazdaspeed CBE, I would get it now! I was told since mazda's mazdaspeed cbe is made to connect to the 2nd cat, the testpipe wont fit because of it's 80mm connections.

I may be wrong, but I believe the AP has the option to remove certain codes so that the ECU will run as if nothing has changed....good for TBE I believe. Your tuner probably did this to optimize your power.

Ms6, please do ALOT of reading about ATR first, then adjust your settings. It is a powerful tool...if ONLY doing idle, then you should be ok.

So the richness is what allows for the the extra mods....which then lean it out but at a still safe level...that's why they are doing it maybe and that's why they say more mods are welcome!? If my logic is correct then that was a good marketing move by HT.... I would like to have the option...

So do any of you think....and I am just spitballing here....that the +5 positive WOT numbers we are seeing at WOT could be because Hypertech found a way through their tuner software to make the ECU add fuel at WOT so that we never lean out? In other words not see below 1600 PSI and 12.xx AFR's...

Hmmm..I don't beleive the RPM at idle with AC on is defaulted to 900 or higher so the AC probably wouldn't help... When I sold my AP, I uninstalled my ATR and now I can't reinstall it to confirm!! (pissed)

Ya, I was going to say the same thing about the RPMS adjustment. I understand, Chris, what you are saying about emission standards...I get it. It's just ironic that being able to adjust RPM's would fix the smoking problem that Mazda says doesn't exist for some mildly to heavily bolted cars...

Chris....would you guys be able to add features to the program... for example, you already have the 0-60 limiter removal, but what about something like idle rpm adjuster for AC on and off, flat-foot shifting, High BAT Temp/Low BAT Temp adjuster (in ATR I had set it lower for even more saftey)...

I tapped my into the the lighter so it comes on only when the head lights come on....but it came loose often....keep your tightning tool with you at all times. I went back to stock.... wont use another non-threaded knob again.
