WTB A Cobb Access Port for $300

Welcome to lowballer land. The exit is THAT way.

    WTB: Cobb AP

You still need an AP for your MS3? Haven't got around to putting mine up for sale yet but thought I'd ask since I came across your thread.

    so lets talk coilovers

If you're looking for a great street setup then H&Rs are your best bet. So long as you don't go nuts on the drop then they're actually quite comfy and ride almost as good as stock without the wallowing. Like someone else mentioned, H&Rs are high quality - Bilstein struts with custom matched...

TMIC! need help deciding on which one

Seems to me there are a LOT of people having problems with their SU TMIC so I don't even know why you even bother to consider it unless you're a glutton for punishment. For peace of mind, just get an ETS 3.25" and be done, never having to worry about fitment issues.

    Glove box rattle...

Alright, more info. to those suffering from this infamous rattle and/or ticking from the glovebox. After stuffing some foam and re-attaching that foot vent, the rattles have subsided BUT after about a week, the light but super annoying ticking re-surfaced. So I took the whole damn glovebox out...

    Glove box rattle...

Been there, done ALL that before and even drove around sans glovebox for the past few weeks because I never got around to really diging around and putting it back together. I, too, thought it was the latch hooks and even suspected the lock cylinder assembly and tried so many different things to...

Do you down shift while daily driving?

Yup, you betcha. Like someone else already mentioned, if you're not in gear, that just basically means you have no throttle and can't get out of the way if someone is coming at you in any direction. Accidents happen in a matter of a split second so it's not likely you can react in time by...

    MS3 front lip question

The MS3 bumper is a different design so I'm pretty sure the kit you're looking at won't fit without modification. A different approach would be to find out whether or not a regular 3's front bumper cover will bolt onto a MS3 and go from there with the kit.

    rx8, or 2010 ms3 wheels?

The 2010 MS3 wheels are the same design as the R3 wheels except they're not gunmetal and are 18" as opposed to 19. They look decent for OEM wheels but seriously, the main reason the R3 wheels looked so good is because they're 19" which makes them look really aggressive. The 18" 2010 wheels...

Do you down shift while daily driving?

Uh, if mother nature could sue Toyota, it would because plants & trees already do that. But to stay on topic...I can't believe so many ppl bother to downshift when coming to a stop. Engine braking is useful but only in certain situations - coming to a slow stop at a red light in the city isn't...

    dash rattle/buzz

I had that buzz/rattle as well a few months ago. It's the spot where the centre console ends so to speak. Like Sport6 said, nothing like a few pieces of packing foam couldn't cure. I got quite a bit of that foam in various parts of my dash nowadays! This stuff does wonders and all it takes...

    Windshield noise

Yup, had mine done last summer just before the winter and now the darned ticking noise is back with a vengeance. Might just have to give the mastic tape a shot soon as well.

    Ecutek for Speed3

You're really better off browsing some of the local Mazda forums in Sweden. Up until this post, I'm sure 9 out of 10 MS3 owners have never even heard of Ecutek and/or that they made engine management for our cars. With that said, most of us in NA either have gone CPE or Cobb's AP. I know the...

    Mazdaspeed3-powered Supasse V supercar

^^ I can see a bit of that resemblance but the Stratos was and still is a one of a kind car. The Stratos was built for racing and nothing else - everything about it was purpose built and it looked great. This thing is actually quite hideous IMO.

    Misfire and fuel psi

Not to discourage anyone but I haven't heard too many ppl having great success with any aftermarket fuel pumps for this car. Seems like every vendor/manufacturer have had either QC issues or the upgraded pump doesn't work as advertised.

    Sold the speed =(

So I'm not the only one perplexed by this as well. MS3 insurance in my area is pretty darn cheap. It's listed as a "Mazda3 Sport" on my papers and it only cost an extra couple of hundred bucks more to insure than my previous car that was 10 years old. I can't imagine any convertible being...

PLX Multi Gauge - WOW gotta get one!

Cool idea but they should drop the sweeping gauges until they figure out how to make cost-effective OLED displays into different shapes. Square screen in a round display just looks gay.

Do u use 16's or 17's for winter tires / wheels

16" steelies from Tire Rack. Got them last fall and, like someone else mentioned, clearance is tight but they work fine.

    2010 vw gti-r

Yeah, short & closely spaced ratios are great for acceleration but terrible for the highway. It used to be that 6-speeds were rare but just like how 18s are the new 17s, 6-speed boxes are the norm and the luxury cars now get 7 and 8-speed trannies (albeit, all of these have been autos so far)...

AWD Mazda Speed 3 on EBAY

Uh, reality check, swapping in coilovers is not quite the same as swapping in a different fuel tank in a non-factory location.
