Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110- Review

They do have rim protection. I already tested that feature unfortunately, but the rim was untouched. As for what I paid, I paid $520 at the Tire Rack. They don't charge my states sales tax. I also got in on the $50 rebate too. That rebate expires Nov 30th I believe. Also, got to test them in...

    Suspension Problem?

Get a Big Aftermarket Sway Bar and Aftermarket End Links and that'll be way cheaper and way better than the stock stuff. Otherwise, I'm sure several people here will sell their OEM stuff cheap.

215/45R18 XL - Is XL ok?

Tire Rack said that about the Hankook Ventus that I ordered too, but they are very plush. It varies by brand and tire. I have no idea about Bridgestones. There's lots of compromises with snow tires anyways. One of the Car Mags (Car & Driver, Road & Track, Motor Trend) I subscribe to had a...

    Suspension Problem?

Looks like your Rear sway Bar shifted to the right. Try loosening it and seeing if it'll go back centered and tighten it down. That shouldn't happen. edit: under reexamination, it appears your right sway bar end link is actually bent.

Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110- Review

I have noticed that about the sidewalls. I wasn't sure how much is attributed to the 225/45 size. The better ride & less noise is worth the slight increase in flex to me.

Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110- Review

Update lateral grip is slightly better than the stock potenzas. The Hankooks are very forgiving and easy to drive at the limit. They start to slide a little, but stay very stable and progressive. The Potenzas would tend to squeal and start skipping. The Hankooks just start scrubbing. I can get...

Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110- Review

Just had these mounted up on 10/29/09. They are in 225/45/18 Stock suspension Miles Driven so far - 200 Initial Impressions- It's far too early to give a definitive review here. I think it takes atleast 5,000 miles to get a proper opinion of a tire. What I have noticed so far: Much quieter...

Ford XT-M5-QS is the part # for the Ford fluid. Best there is for our cars.

    Amsoil Manual Transmission fluid?

I've used Amsoil MTG and Redline MT90. I recently switched to Ford XT-M5-QS. It's vastly superior for our cars. I've used Amsoil for 22 years, but the Ford stuff works best. It's just hella expensive.

Should I buy a Test pipe? Need help

no leaks. It gave a good deal more power than I thought it would. Butt Dyno says the gain is close to what the SRI gave it. Great Bang for the buck and doesn't add sound until you accelerate hard. Then it sounds very nice. Also, doesn't affect the tune like a DP does. Sure there's more HP in a...
