I guess it depends on if it broke flush with the manifold or not... I'm lacking skills in the auto repair dept.
Who am I, lol, my name is Seth, 31, live in Boston....
Oh yeah, drove it right out of the showroom floor in 03. Over the years it's occurred to me to drive it off a cliff. I wouldn't be in it of course. (crazy)
Anyone have a good mechanic in the Boston area? I have a broken bolt on my mazdaspeed protege turbo exhaust manifold. Not sure where to take it. The bolt may need to be drilled out (not sure) so I'm guessing it's a pricey venture.
Oringal thread here...
I am not sure if the bolt broke off flush with the manifold or if there is enough left to grab it with a pair of vice grips. I recall the mechanic saying it might be sticking out a bit... Of course I never got to see it. The flange is covering it up. How easy is it to take the flange off? I'm...
Hey all, looking for a good mechanic in the Boston area that can fix a broken bolt on the exhaust manifold. I've been to a couple places and every time I say the word turbo I get a look of horror. They don't even want to touch it.
From what I understand the entire manifold needs to be taken off...

Here is mine. Don't think I'll be driving it anytime soon. Suppose to get more snow in a few days too!

Another forum member mailed me and said he got it to work with the 400 foot pack and 2069 fit kit. He said the shop he ordered it from installed it for him. Guess I'm just not doing it right. just wanted to let you know cause you said you might hold off.
I'm gonna try again today if its not raining. maybe I juts got the rubber pads backwards. It looks like the rack sits ok on the roof but the metal clamps that hold the rack in place don't seem to want to fit flush agaist the inside of the door jam. I'll keep ya uptated.
For people who have put a Thule roof rack on thier MSP I was wondering which fit kit you used? I am trying to put a Thule rack on my MSP using fit kit 2069 but am having problems getting it to...well...fit. I'm using the 400 aero foot mounts too.
