Haven't been around in a while

I now daily a Veloster N Performance Pack and have a Scion iA (Mazda2) as a second car / husband's car. If Mazda were still selling the Mazdaspeed3 I certainly would have considered it. But they aren't. How's everyone doing?

Mazdas247 Mazda of the Month | February

My first post here in quite a while - congrats Eric! I don't even have the NB anymore! Guess I need to update my signature. I have a 2012 3S-GT sedan and about to pick up a 2006 NC Sport!

    2015 Mazda3 Sedan & Hatch - 2.5 Liter "S" Model with Manual Transmission

I'm just trying to refute the prevailing thinking that a MT makes an inferior or less pleasant companion in traffic. It's the traffic that sucks, not the car. I know it's a matter of preference, but I'd still rather have my manual in the stop & go. It makes what could be a dull commute more...

    2015 Mazda3 Sedan & Hatch - 2.5 Liter "S" Model with Manual Transmission

Cars that are not available with a MT are not even the slightest bit on my radar. I'm sure the S-class is a nice car to ride in; I have no interest in driving one. If I bought a car to be chauffeured around in (this is not likely) yeah... it could be automatic. Fine, I'll take a non-sport...

    2015 Mazda3 Sedan & Hatch - 2.5 Liter "S" Model with Manual Transmission

Hi, I'm Nathan. Nice to meet you. (drinks) I have a rowhouse in the city, don't have a 3-car garage, and my commute is precisely two miles, but for the sake of the hypothetical, I'll humor you. If I had a "highway cruiser" it would definitely be a manual. Really, is there anything sexier than...

    2015 Mazda3 Sedan & Hatch - 2.5 Liter "S" Model with Manual Transmission

Not so fast. Auto in manual mode, around town, feels very awkward. Feels strange to be, for the most part, telling the auto to do what it can figure out on its own. But to need to be in manual mode in case I want to make a quick move without delay - not the way most people would use an...

    2015 Mazda3 Sedan & Hatch - 2.5 Liter "S" Model with Manual Transmission

You've missed the point. I don't have to use the clutch or shift because i have already anticipated wanting to change lanes, so I'm already in a gear that will give me instantaneous power when i push the throttle.
