    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

What I can't stand about the Q7 is the dash, too square looking, not organic. Some of the displays look like they come out of a 1989 Taurus.

    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

I am confused about your analogy, is an apple better than a coconut? One is from Hawaii, the other is primarily from the midwest. The coconut has a higher market value, while the apple can suffer from worms, and seems to be a dime a dozen. The apple is great in pies, but not as good in...

    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

The problem with this example is you are comparing apples to oranges. The MDX at the top level has far more equipment on it than the CX-9 at this level. As I have said before a better comparison is between the MDX entertainment package, approx 45,600 MSRP and the GT AWD CX-9, approx 40,xxx...

    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

You can easily get that amount off, and maybe a little more, plus qualify for the 2.9 for 36 months or the 4.9 for 60 months. Remember the dealer has a $1300-1400 holdback right now. If a dealer can't give you this deal, then he is ripping you off. The cars are not that far apart, it is a...

    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

You need to compare the MDX tech to the GT AWD, the sport adds a computerized suspension, which has different shocks and sensors at all four wheels, adjusting the shocks according to sport or comfort mode, also includes upgraded leather, and rear seat heaters. None of these options are offered...

    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

I think $5000-$6000 difference is right on for comparable vehicles. The reason I am not buying the Cx-9 over the Acura is, engine, quality of leather, better AWD, much better Nav, higher towing capacity, 3500 vs 5000, I can have a DVD and a sunroof, I like the trip computer that calculates MPG...

Mazda CX-9 = Audi Q7 minus lots of money

too much money!! I see where the base starts at $41,xxx, but loaded up goes to $62,xxx. Unbelievable! If they dropped the price a bit they could probably sell a lot of these.

    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

WOW. for that kind of difference I would definitely be getting the CX-9.

    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

I didn't think an extra $4000 was too bad for a similarly equipped MDX, with Nav, 410 watt DVD-audio sound system, SHAWD and moonroof, 44,xxx. A nicely equipped MSRPs at 40,655. In my area I can close that gap due to the lack of CX-9 selection. There just haven't been that many despite the...

    CX9 - vs other crossovers.

A big one you are missing is the Acura MDX. Smaller than the CX-9, but the third seat is still usable. Tons of power, great handling, nice leather, and they are dealing on them right now. I have driven most of the above mentioned, and this week will buy the MDX. By the way, this vehicle...

    How are CX-9s selling

Cars overall are not flying off the lots, I don't care what model it is. I have been told that car sales last month were the worse ever. Case in point, when did you ever see Toyota offering deep discounts and large rebates. Lots of competition and an economy that isn't exactly thriving, of...

    Is this a good price?

$3000-$4000 off depending on the area, this is for a '07. There are a lot of them on the parking lots, a lot more MDX's than Cx-9s. Drove one last night, LOVED it.

great answer, thanks for the reply.

    Mazda's new engine

I wonder what kind of difference the new engine will make with 0-60 times. The Acura MDX is .5 seconds quicker according to most tests at 300 hp. It doesn't seem that the new engine will make that much difference. What is anyone's opinion?

Arcadia vs. Veracruz vs. CX-9 crossover comparison

I have driven the Cx-9 and the Acadia, both are great vehicles, but i am going with the Cx-9. I have had plenty of GM cars in the past, and have grown tired of their slow shifting transmissions, and straining engines. I am in the minority when I say that I like the look of the Acadia better...

    Is this a good price?

My father bought a 6 two years ago when they were trying to clear the end of the year vehicles out, bought it $6000 under MSRP. I am sure that was below what others paid on the S-plan earlier in the year. There was a $2000 rebate at the time. They are making a lot more money on these vehicles...

    Is this a good price?

I see that you posted $500 off with a web coupon. Is that the $500 rebate that mazda is offering? Sounds like the dealerships are playing with the S-Plan, or Mazda is. Used to get a lot more than $3000-$3500 off.
