It is the most space saving setup I have seen and you dont have to build a false floor because of their depth. They sound f**king amazing the way it is done up! I was just sharing for those interested in being able to have complete full use of their hatch. Not for everyone obviously.

No, they temporarily disconnected the installed rca's, ran test rca through the middle of the car (on top of the carpet) to get it away from the power..or so they say. It is annoying, especially when the car is cold cuz of the higher rpm's.

I know I'm a little late on the reply, but go with the Infinity Kappa 2-way 5x7. I have those and the 6.5 Kappas in the rear and they are killer. Bass response is quite impressive for no sub and they fill the car up with sound very nicely.

Just get it in your brain that you must fill up at a quarter tank and you'll never have to worry. Plus that way if you have to outrun a cop :p you'll have plenty of reserve and won't get caught.

I used the Dynamat Extreme and dont think I would bother trying anything else. It kicks so much ass. Don't be stingy with it.

Ya, go with the Basslink..it won't disappoint. You are not going to be able to stay within your budget if you want to make a worthwhile sound improvement. Your budget may get you into some sort of sub w/ amplification. Prolly about it. If thats all you can do, I would upgrade speakers first...
