From reading the shop manual PDFs, it seems that one has to remove most of the rear interior panels just to replace a burned out tailight/brakelight. Is this really the case? Seems rather odd... I'm hoping I'm just being dense and am missing something obvious.

The stock Protege leather seats are not entirely leather right? I thought I read somewhere that only the perforated part is leather, the rest is vinyl. But of course I can't find the thread. Is this correct?

If this doesn't belong in here, please move. The positive battery cable is stuck on my old SAAB, I think the nut and bolt are damaged from corrosion or something. Can I safely use liquid wrench or something similar to loosen it? Removing the neg cable of course.
