well yes they both are in-line 6 3.0L made by Toyota. thats about where the similarity stops. Turboing the NA motor is a BAD idea. there is a guy here in buffalo that is about 30k into his IS and it still doesnt run right with 8psi. What do you think its a mazda (shrug)

Wrong. similar motor supra used a 2jz-gte with a getrag (sp?) 6 speed Is300 is a 2jz-ge(no forged internals, no special oil squarters in the block) with a crappy 5 speed.

hmm wow Ive never took my Pro5 up past 100. But I use to have a mini cooper that did 150 stock and that was only 1.6l. I havent taken the evo up eather. I must be getting old. My ninja did 180 till I changed the gearing for more accelaration now cuts out at about 160.

I dont know, I took a speed6 for a test drive right before I got the Evo and I noticed it was alot harder to get it to spin it felt like it wanted to plow like my FWD... now when you can do Axis spins thats hott.

Figured this is a long shot but dosnt hurt. My Pro5 got cliped by an old dude cracked the front bumper. got an insurence check but Im cheap. so if you got onepost up. I bought paint already (had to fix the fender) but havent gotten the bumper yet and painting plastic sucks. but if no one does...

See now I have the other problem. I have Bars but no rails.... Anyone want to sell there rails? Or I'll trade my factory rails Feet and mounting hard wear for a aftermarket set of bars that will work without rails.
