Now I know about the "cold start rattle" issue and I'm getting ready to take mine in for an ecu tweak too, but is there something they can do about roof rack noise? I took mine off, because I figured, just like my old VW Golf w/ roof rack, there was no other way around it.... or is there?

Oh yes, and BTW - the K&N CAI that routes down thru the fenderwell hole by the washer fluid bottle looks to be a nice item too! ;-) Maybe some Tokico shocks (Illuminas?) and mild lowering springs too... :-b...

Hey Don (or anyone else) -- You've got me thinking again - had you tried anyone's car with the Kartboy shifter or do you have any idea how it would fare as far as ball joint 'slop'? Can anything be done to improve the stock shifter joint? Thanks much!

Hi Macklum -- Great idea! I think I'll try it. I'm doing some head scratching at the moment to see if I can mod my stock air intake to make the car breath easier & cooler, w/o resorting to a $150 pipe. The challenge is to make meaningful mods with low cost, yet professional appearance...

I used Redline MTL in my '94 RX7's 5 speed - it was kind of notchy straight off the boat, but with the Redline, the shifts smoothed out quite a bit. I imagine their ATF would be good too. Actually, at some point, I'll probably put the MTL in my P5's 5 speed too. (has anyone done that here?)...
