    Best Intake and Springs?

I have Eibach Sportline Springs. Eibach Pro-kit springs are half the drop. I do have to be careful when pulling in and out of sloped driveways, but the handling is great. I got the Mazdaspeed rear camber links to adjust for the excess camber angle. Before the camber links, I wore my stock Toyo...

    CAI Install?

The K&N Typhoon comes with a Dry-charger(same as the pre-filter). Like I said, "If you're in an area where it rains enough to worry about hydrolock" you might want a bypass, especially if you're running Eibach Sportlines. If your roads get high water at times, a pre-filter will do about as much...

    CAI Install?

I'm not sure what brand you are installing, but they are all about the same. K&N has an awesome step-by-step instruction. Here it is: http://www.kandn.com/instructions/69-6010.pdf If you're in an area where it rains enough to worry about hydrolock, you might want one of these...

    Broken Axle and Diff. Issues.

Wow! They actually let ATX's on a track? Well, someone has to lose. j/k You are one lucky guy for them to cover that. Unless you did something really dumb, there's no way you're pumping enough power to do any damage. You need to take that car back to stock and trade it in for a MTX if you really...

    Throttle Body Ground (by loudboxer)

The engineers at Mazda are pretty good about catching things, but electronic throttle control is fairly new. Cable controlled throttles don't have this issue, so I wouldn't have though about it either. Take a look at the engineering on the the Mazda3 trunk. It took them until the '07 models to...

    Throttle Body Ground (by loudboxer)

The throttle body on a Mazda3 is controlled by an electric servo. Since the throttle body is "floating"(meaning not hard grounded), static charges can accumulate on the TB and effect the accuracy of the servo. When you connect a ground wire, you eliminate those excess charges and allow the...

    Throttle Body Ground (by loudboxer)

I like the mod so far. It's nothing major, but for less than $5 it's worth the difference. The throttle responds alot smoother and changes as fast as I need it to. Hopefully it will be a good assist to the CAI.
