i agree with the hella flush overkill. i think sometimes a RWD car can pull it off but FWD def no way. i prefer when the lip of the wheel sits exactly flush with the fender and maybe a 1-3mm poke

ive had some ridiculous setups before im just way too lazy and busy to measure things out haha i used to run 17x9 +5 (215/40) fronts and 17x10 +19 (235/40) rears on my old s13 with stock fenders

yah that fitment looks solid. i wanted to measure things out to try and fit a 16x8 or maybe even a 16x8.5 in the rear and slam the p5 lol

i disagree, your right in the sense that its nothing high end....it was cheap and makes for an excellent daily driver. i have no plans on making my p5 a fast and furious race machine i just want to make my daily driver look more put together. thus, wider wheels will make the fitment look more...

shi-fu jay thanks man! thats exactly what i was looking for. im a sucker for proper fitment and thats something that i never neglect. did you do any fender roller with those sizes?

basically say if a 8.5 width wheel can clear the suspension and sit flush with the fender/possibly poke out a mm or 2 a, a narrower tire like a 205/40/17 can be stretched to fit on the wheel. the purpose is to achieve maximum "flushness" for lack of a better lol using ideal offsets and wheel...

is that with stretched tires? that cant be right.....it seems an 8.5 would fit in the rear and still clear coilovers. again im a protege noob so i do apologize but i thought i might be able to fit a staggered setup

im a noob to protege's but not a noob to fine tuning lol. what the widest wheel width that can fit on the front and rear of a p5. note: front needs to fit comfortably. rear can be tight. where is the offset police? thanks
