No, but u will gain (or recover) torque in low RPMs. 3" will give better power at high RPM compared to a 2" CAI. (just like exhaust piping.... huge ones make it suck in low rpm but do a bit better in high rpms)
When you turn O/D off, the tranny computer makes u stay in each gear longer. It's better when u are crawling in stop-n-go traffic on the freeway....less shifting for the tranny.
Thats what i have been thinking too. BUT, if thats true, then what about cars like BMW and all? Even when stock, they look real low, have low pro tires and handle very well.

108ft/lb torque (i think the intake tube and box are slightly different from the mazda engine. There might also be some minor differences in the ECU)
Everything is the basically the same except for the valve cover which would say Mazda instead of Kia.
