I think it is time for me to change my timing belt(and probably the water pump too) and I'm hoping I can save some money by doing it myself. Does anyone know how difficult it would be?

How difficult is it to attach a strut bar? Just a few bolts? Any advice from anyone who's done it would be appreciated.

I think if you get one of the adapter hubs and then also a quick-release, it'll work. I've seen people on eBay selling steering wheels, adapters, and quick-releases all as one package.

It looks like they might have one at www.corksport.com It says it requires modification to work with airbag-equipped cars, but I'm not sure exactly what the mod would be(something easy I hope).

I have a 00 LX and I'm having the same problem - and I want to put a quick-release on there too. If I find anything, I'll let you know.

I've heard a lot about people bending/breaking rods with FI. Would you guys suggest putting in forged rods/pistons before I put in a turbo, or is that something that can wait?

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to increase my horsepower? I want to put in a turbo eventually, but right now I'm looking for some other less-costly options.

I just put an Injen on my 1.6L. So far I haven't had any hesitation problems and I've noticed quite a difference, especially in 3rd gear and out on the highway.

How difficult would the install be on the springs? I found both kits for about $250. I'll keep looking to see if I can find them cheaper. Thanks for the advice.

Does anybody know where I can get a carbon fiber hood for a 2000 LX? I've searched the web and ebay for carbon hoods, but I can't find one for the life of me. If anyone can tell me where I can find one(especially at a good price) I would be eternally grateful.
