It is, just like in the CX-9, but you need to set it up first.

    Not detecting speed sign

What you are looking for ln the spec sheet is Traffic sign recognition. The 2018 brochure has it in the GT trim and up, and I can’t see it ln the 2017 brochure. https://cdn.dealereprocess.org/cdn/brochures/mazda/ca/2017-cx9.pdf...

    PHEV Charger Adapter Options, Ideas?

The plug in your garage is likely just a 240v outlet, but that is already a great start. I think you need a level 2 charging cable/charger, that will plug into the outlet in your garage. I don’t think you can use the level 1 charging cable you have even with an adapter because it won’t be rated...

2021 CX-9 Windshield Wiper Setting question

I tried mine in the dry yesterday as a refresher of how fast they go. Truth is here it doesn’t rain that hard here, so the low speed is typically good enough for me. I have seen faster though, in a real good downpour i could see them not being as fast as someone would like, but it is still okay...

    2016~2023 CX-9 ATF Oil Cooler No 2

I am not 100% sure but I think the oil cooler is an extra radiator, not a replacement for the current radiator.

2021 CX-9 Windshield Wiper Setting question

I have never had this issue. Maybe there is something wrong with your wipers. The fast manual setting is fairly fast and it doesn’t have a pause in the movement of the wiper. Can you share a video maybe of what your wipers are doing ?

    2016~2023 CX-9 ATF Oil Cooler No 2

Discussing how CX-9 2016+ models outside of the US and Canada have an additional transmission oil cooler: I am not sure exactly where i originally found the info, but digging back into it there is a hint in the AC condenser TSB, stating that US and Canada are « without ATF oil cooler #2 » and...

2016~2023 CX-9 Engine coolant temperature sensor

It is here: Post in thread '2016 and up CX-5 Service Manual' 2016 and up CX-5 Service Manual Our CX-9 is the CX-9(TC). That is for the Australian version but they are almost identical (they have an extra oil cooler, but i think that is mostly it).

2016~2023 CX-9 Engine coolant temperature sensor

The manual says you only need to remove these items to remove it (in that order) -drain the coolant - plug hole plate ( the plastic engine cover) - battery -Air-inlet So i think you should be able to see it without removing much, altough the inlet pipe may be in the way. They also say you...

2016~2023 CX-9 Engine coolant temperature sensor

Oh my bad. I thought you meant the thermostat. I didn’t realise they were difdefent things. How about this one then ? The ECT sensor (engine coolant temperature sensor) is number 9. It is under engine/control system in the manual.
