Ordered the Thule Compass kayak carrier on stock rails. Where do yall recommend attaching bow & stern to w/o hitch? Any additional tips for straps to not damage paint?

I am looking at a Touring AWD PP and was quoted $29, 958 in KY. The current Mazda Rebate says $500, how are you getting the 1k price?

Thanks for the advice. I felt the Subtotals prior to TTL were a little high, as well as OTD as tax in Kentucky is also 6%. We have 2 dealers that are within an hour, and I believe there is one more that is about 2hrs away.

Thank you for the advice. A discussion point I had is how often do we need passing power and how much is enough. There are times we require to pass someone on back roads, but if I could do it in a Insight or Elantra then I should be good with a NA CX 5.
