    Engine Stumble

You might need a second person to help you.... someone needs to hold the belt on the right side down, while you apply the tensioner on the left. NOT a one man job!

Then your timing is messed up. It's not just as easy as just setting the belt on. You have to match up the markings on the belt, make sure there is not skips, and apply the tensioner. Then you have to do a full rotation and make sure the marks line up still.

    Engine Stumble

Well, mine just had the same issues..... worse at lower speeds, but after I was over 30 it was no problem. Mine ended up being a nearly 100% shot timing belt and a ding oil pump. Here is a VERY valuable tip. If you get any work done at a shop, tell them you want the old parts. My mechanic never...

    Cel Help

Yeah, if your battery or alternator is bad, then obviously you will have starting issues. I do not believe the care will run with a bad alternator.

    How To Change Fuel Pump

I did mine the other day, and I just ended up taking out the spacer in the plastic cap, and then with a little force the plastic cap snapped on the walboro and then plugged right on into the tank.

    Cel Help

Yeah, having bent teeth will totally ruin the timing. (the wheel with teeth below the timing belt, the sensor is to the right of it, make sure its lined up correctly and that none of the teeth are bent. If they are, bend them back.) I blew my timing spring in mine, and woah man, did it sound...

    Engine Stumble

You might want to check your EGR, make sure its not all gummed up. Clean your MAF while you are at it, all the auto stores sell MAF cleaner. Make sure your air filter is not nasty. Check your PCV valve. Take it off (the hose and it just pop off) and jiggle it up and down, the part inside the PVC...

    Cat problems

I have only seen the obx headers for the 1.6l and the 2.0l. I have yet to see a 1.8l. If you know of one, let me know!

    Cat problems

I am getting the dreaded cat inefficiency error. I have already replaced my os sensors, so its my cat. Now on the the real question. Where can I get one for a 99 1.8L? I am told that the cat is part of the header (I think thats right), and as such I have to either buy stock, or replace the...

I have the same problem and have done all he above. Cleaned EGR, replaced spark plugs, replaced full exhaust system (not header) and patched a header leak. I have done new plugs and wires, installed a new CAI. I JUST got a engine code which I was told means that my idle air control valve is...

Well I have helped it out SOME..... What you do is take off the brake booster line and slowly let it suck some seafoam into the lines. 1/3 the bottle is all you use. After thats done, let it sit in your car for about 10-15 minutes, then start your car up and let all the crazy white smoke go...
