    CX-5 Tapping noise

Tapping went away, likely because of the warmer weather. No sense in taking to dealer or changing filter, so it's a wait and see :/

    CX-5 Tapping noise

I've used Kirkland for the last 3 oil changes. Noise has been happening for maybe 2-3 weeks. Might be correlates to the newest oil change with WIX filter but it could be a coincidence.

    CX-5 Tapping noise

The stain isn't from the oil drain area. I'll have to take a closer look. Noise was there this morning and over weekend when temps were below 45 F, even after trying the air bleed thing. This afternoon temp is 55+ F and noise went away. Anyone know how serious the problem is? Ok to drive...

Dangerous cylinder deactivation trouble on 2018 CX-5 and Mazda6 models

Dealer did do the TSB for leaking engine oil a week before the 2 low oil pressure warnings came on. Maybe excess sealant went and clogged up the valve a bit.

Dangerous cylinder deactivation trouble on 2018 CX-5 and Mazda6 models

2018 CX-5 Oil Leak? Is this TSB for Tensioner?

Forgot to update. The dealer used the TSB to fix the leak. They didn't have to drop the engine. Driven about 200 miles since, no sign of leak, but guessing it's too early to tell right now. So far so good though.

2018 CX-5 Oil Leak? Is this TSB for Tensioner?

2018 CX-5 Oil Leak? Is this TSB for Tensioner?

Dealer confirmed timing chain cover leak. Stated they assumed the oil stains on the plastic shield was left from sloppy oil change . Although they are friendly and have a convenient valet/loander program, I've needed to do a lot of the research / suggestions on my own. Otherwise...
