Just to add on to my last point and to get some opinions, i've had my 2018 GT for just over 6 months and only have 2100km on it as i dont use it on a daily basis. the owners manual scheduled maintenance section states that the interval for oil changes here in canada is every 8000km or 6 months...

$10 at dealer. Nit sure which country of manufacturing. Will find out sat when i grab one. Considering its only $2 more than a basic fram and same peice as wix seema like a no brainer

Glad i found this thread. Was going to ask the dealership about buying an oem filter but amazon has wix filters for 10 and change. The link in this thread for the oem Mazda filters says unavailable currently.
