New 2019 CX-9 GT. Two questions:

Your world and your money, but why? I've had the car through two New England winters and the tire pressure hasn't moved, like at all. Sits at 36 PSI pretty darn steady.

    Tire pressure for 20's.

I was delivered at nearly 60 as well. And with a broken headlight - they stole my good one for another car delivery and never fixed it.

Power Commander PC41 w/ BT for Madza CX

How does this compare to using Sport mode to liven things up?

    CX-9 2.5T drives better with 91 Octane

I bought it for the zoom-zoom, right :) In all honestly, not really any different than the Honda Pilot that I had before that - got right around 21mpg with that. I do spend a LOT of time in stop and go traffic driving in the ring of hell around the Boston area. But even on clean highway trips...

    CX-9 2.5T drives better with 91 Octane

26mpg? Jeez. In 20,000 miles, I've never broken 20mpg. 89 octane, 93 octane. Wide open highway, stop and go highway.

4WD System High Load = Tomfoolery Detected... Thoughts on the CX-9 in the snow.

TireRack shows 17" options, paired with a higher ratio tire.

    '18 CX-9 and Fortin Remote Car Starter...Success!

There was enough space in my steering column to tuck it up in there. Guy at Fortin said to make sure to button everything up and then go lock to lock a couple of times to make sure nothing is binding.

Remote Start Options / Recommendations / Things to consider?

Why BT? The range on my key is waaaaay longer than BT....

4WD System High Load = Tomfoolery Detected... Thoughts on the CX-9 in the snow.

Eh, maybe we'll get there. Probably easier, and cheaper, to drive my wife's Grand Cherokee. Move the Thule over and be good to go. Why I should have to spend $600 on used tires on a brand new car is beyond me. I was so, so, so excited to get this car. I did my research, I read the reviews...

4WD System High Load = Tomfoolery Detected... Thoughts on the CX-9 in the snow.

Yeah, that was my thread :) Took the car up to New Hampshire this weekend and got a decent chunk of snow. Roads were generally plowed and sanded before we went out, but was still all over the place. I've got north of 200,000 miles of driving experience in New England and the car isn't safe...

Traction control?!?! Where is that button? Seriously. B/c this is the worst vehicle in snow that I've ever driven.

    Slipping in First Gear

I'm trying to find a way to reliably reproduce. It happens quite frequently in one spot that I can think of. Oddly, the tach sticks in one spot and the car feels like it just doesn't want to up and go. I think it's probably just a flat spot in the power band where the turbos haven't spooled...

    Slipping in First Gear

    I have an '18, so Gen 2 I believe.

    Slipping in First Gear

Good question - I don't think so, but might be. If so, would you assume related to turbo?

    Slipping in First Gear

Gotta figure out how to reproduce it on demand :)

    Slipping in First Gear

Does anyone else occasionally think it sounds like their transmission is slipping while in first gear? Specifically when holding throttle position steady? When I pull away from a stop in traffic (so under very light, sustained, consistent throttle application) it sounds exactly like a manual...

Ross bars for roof rack, who's got'em?

They are fine. Installation could be, should be, easier. But if you get the ratchet extension they recommend, it's fine. They do make enough noise that I wish I could pop them off when I take the Thule off.

Remote Start Options / Recommendations / Things to consider?

Something is not identical to the '18 CX-9 because I don't get that message and my engine does not stop when the door is opened..... FWIW, I do have error lights on the instrument panel until I hit the button to complete the takeover. But I think it's just TPMS.

Is this place really a "Lounge" ?

Agreed with this. I posted a thread in the Tires section forever ago and it really didn't get any traffic. Crossposted to the lounge and it took off. I don't think this site has enough traffic to justify there being 6 subforums on the CX-9 alone.

Remote Start Options / Recommendations / Things to consider?

Mazda has offered the app based remote start option for awhile, I think all the way back to '17 but definitely '18 and '19. I don't see any evidence at all of a Viper based remote start kit using the factory FOB (or any FOB) for that matter. Searching the web doesn't yield any Mazda based...
