    torque steer while strong aceleration

Noticed same. But I believe the CX-9 almost always starts in front drive mode only, hence the torque steer. It only starts sending torque to the rear wheels when it anticipates traction loss. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New Member here: I just test drove a cx 9 signature - "dreadful A/C" is correct

Finally had a few days of heat here in Toronto, and I can now say that the A/C is just fine. It is a bit more dependent on having the recirculate mode turned on but is also colder and more aggressive than my previous car (MDX) in summer temps on auto setting. I will say that there is a...

Yes, I find the temp reading consistently shows about 5 degrees warmer than actual.

Yes, I find the same thing. Probably why so many have reported poor A/C after a test drive (which tends to be short).

The first time I checked, I thought you were right... until I realized that I was using the back of my hand to feel the front and the palm of my hand to feel the back vents. Using the same side of my hand to feel both, found that they feel the same.

The thermostat vent is to the right of the steering wheel, a bit below the console centre line of the dash. If you look, you'll see the vent cutouts; they are about an inch square or less. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Coming from an Acura MDX, I will say that the a/c is comparable. But both are weak compared to the a/c on American engineered cars. The old CX-9 was really an American design with Mazda sheet metal and tuning, so it makes sense that it had stronger a/c than the 2016+ CX-9s. That being said...

    2016 CX-9 driver seat comfort

I find the seat bottom and lumbar to be fine. But the upper side bolsters are a little narrow and firm. Digs into my shoulders, and I'm not a big guy. But it seems to be getting better. Maybe the foam is softening up over time? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mazda needs to do far better marketing on the CX-9

Among 3 row SUVs, there isn't a lot of choice, so it isn't surprising to see the CX-9 cross shopped against some of the premium brands. I compared to MDX before I went with Mazda. But I'm starting to see more CX-9s on the road here in Toronto. Almost every day I see at least one other on the...
