I wish I had a good answer but my cars are not driven daily on a repeated basis. With every other dressing, I freshen pet it up every detail, especially if in rain. With the DG, that is simply not needed. I imagine I freshen it every 3-4th wash.

I have that cover and am VERY happy with it. I wish it covered the carpeted wheel humps, but other than that it is great.

Are you guys with cross bars leaving them installed when not in use? On the OEM cross bars it is somewhat time consuming to remove them due to the low fastener location. I am wondering if there is any benefit to removing them when not in use...mileage maybe?

I have an AWD but was getting 26-28 average around town. This weekend, I drove 300 miles each way with the apative cruise set on 80. However, I had the cross bars on and two road bikes on the roof. Whoa. I was struggling to get 23 mpg. Car hit 3k miles on the way back.
