It's stupid but it will work...disconnect red lead of battery. Hold brake pedal down about 20 seconds . Reconnect the battery lead. Now try it.

ONLY the MMS (Mazda Mobile Start) works with the app. A normal remote start even if it is a Mazda OEM doses not work with the Mazda MMS phone app.

My 2016 does not get cold in idle. I was waiting for someone after starting in hot weather. The air felt a bit cool but not cold the entire time I waited. Once they got in car and I put in drive, it immediately cooled off.
