Supplying the CX9 with a turbo 4 banger sounds like an awful idea. Your MPGs will be wasted keeping the revs high to keep this mass moving.

Do you have a voltmeter? The first place to start is to see if you have voltage at the bulb connector. If not work your way back to the relay.

Plus would they really total out a 20k dollar car if the only damage was simply a fender, hood and headlights? These are always shady as hell.

You might as fork out the money for a clean title as you will get most of it back when you sell it. No one wants a salvage vehicle. Also where's the indash monitor?
