Have been doing some reading about P0431 codes... I got one a few months ago. It came and went a few times. Seems like it could be my downstream O2 sensor, judging from some posts around the web. Or, it could be something else (vacuum leak? cat itself? precat? a timing belt? spark plugs?)...

Hi! Recently had a P0400 code and then cleaned out the valve in the throttle bottle, which was dirty. The code went away but came on again a few weeks later after I adjusted the Idle Air Bypass valve. I'm not sure it could actually be related to the Air Bypass valve. I suspect it could be...

Yes, I think you may be right... Obviously, any "thump" in a transmission is never a good thing... but would this cause serious damage, or is it "normal"? Cheers, Ty
