I talked with a colleague that has experience with sound deadening and he recommended putting it all over the door on everything metal and or plastic. He said any areas untreated would allow sound to leak in. I looked at several install vids and never came across anyone putting inside the door...

I'm in the market for a new mount since I can't use my current window mount after installing a 3m clear shield on the front windshield. Some of these mounts are great but I'd like to photos of them being used. Please post photos of them in action.

If you cut or brake the gray clip holding the dash speaker cable you'll be able to pull more cable out.
