Very helpful thread for a new owner, thanks all. The fuel gauge accuracy is the only frustrating/baffling thing about my 2 experience so far. It's not linear and the blinking E is way too conservative - in my Sport with no trip computer, makes it more difficult to determine real MPG.

I bought my Mazda2 this week, 2013 Sport MT for $12,995+TTL - if I was willing to drive a ways I've seen them as low as $12,500. Was glad to get the last of the greens in my area, vehicle manufactured May 2013. Happy to join the club!
