had some one else look at it, it seems to be getting gas, but nothing on the return. now all points seem to be going to the computer, everything else has been checked that can be. and there's no scrap yard near us that has this car that ic an get a good computer out of, $400 for a new one...

ok, I have a 2002 Mazda Protege5, it started acting weird and all points went to the fuel pump, replaced that, now it's still doing the same thing, chugs when you can get it to start, and as soon as you hit the gas, it dies.. Had it towed to the shop, ran tests, said it's getting 10lbs of fuel...

figured it put, and it seems that wire is not the issue with my car, but thanks

ok thanks guys, guess it's back to the drawing board for what's wrong with it if we did put that wire in the right place.
