glove box removal takes all of 4 minutes. I pop it out all the time to change the air cabin filter.

They don't sell the 'little rubber' part separately. It's part of the eletronics package which is a 'square' of electronics and it goes under the door knob. BEWARE, getting water into this spot could possibly fry the eletronics in there.

Unfortunately mine is an 08, so no SD card, it's a disc I've tried to reset it about 10 times and the memory keeps coming back like a bad horror movie. I guess the radio is fried. (So's the bluetooth). I guess it's time for a new radio.
