not directly related to the MS3 or MS6, but the 1st gen Protege AWD tranny weighs 160lbs, vs the 75lbs of the fwd. The whole car weighs 350lbs more than the 2WD version (which has power everything while the 4WD does not). I think an estimate of 250lbs more is reasonable, if we believe DG's...

1. same motor as the miata, non interference. Just different intake and exhaust for fwd vs rwd layout. 2. the disty o-ring and valve cover gasket tend to leak sooner than anything else. These cars last, and don't have many problems. Congrats on your purchase :)

no rear lsd, no front lsd, only a center. 2 wheel spin. junk. my 90 4wd protege does better. never been inpressed with subs awd, over hyped.

...a fuse? its possible it could pop a fuse if the plugs wires/connections accidentally touched metal when you removed it. You didn't say if you checked that, so try there first. under the dash at the drivers feet is where it should be. The power mirrors would be on a seperate fuse from the...
