Does anyone have a link to the proper point at where I need to place the jack stands. I have never had to lift a car this much or even get under one before. I just have delayed doing this for so long cause I felt uncomfortable with it

Did you access the pivot point from under the car ? I can reach the pivot point on mine, it's a 14mm btw, I cannot get enough power to break it free. Any suggestions ? I have been trying to get at it from the top.

Im having the same trouble. I posted a thread a few weeks ago. So the bottom bolt can be loosened with a 10mm socket ? This would save be a big head ache if I didnt have to "fish around" trying to find the right size since I am only going by feeling and not an experienced mechanic.
