parking sensors looks like there are two versions to cover those cutouts, one is just a plastic blank and another type is the actual sensors... depending on your market area and whether you purchased the parking sensor option, either way it does look like those cutouts are meant to be covered...

+1 this happens to me once in awhile, if I walk out of range (maybe like 5 feet from car) and a passenger closes the door after I'm out of range, the doors won't lock automatically.
